Hilfe & FAQ

Help & FAQ
Why can't a product be found?
IngredientsCheck Apps use the free Open Food Facts database. Not every product is listed there. Missing products can be added by the community at Open Food Facts.
Why is a result unclear?
Some ingredients cannot be assessed with certainty based on the available product information. Depending on the selected app, the origin, manufacturing process, or composition of certain ingredients may be unknown or incomplete. In such cases, the result will be marked accordingly.
Why might the result be incorrect?
The assessment is based on the information available in Open Food Facts. If ingredient lists are incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate, the result may also be incomplete or incorrect.
How are trace warnings handled?
Trace warnings are displayed separately. They are not part of the ingredient list but may be important for people with allergies or sensitivities.
How do I change the language?
The app starts in your iPhone’s language by default. You can switch between English, German, and French at any time within the app.
The camera does not work.
Please enable camera access under:
Settings → [App Name] → Camera
Alternatively, you can enter the barcode manually.
How can I restore a purchase or request a refund?
Purchases and payments are processed exclusively by Apple. Refund requests can be submitted directly through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Aide & FAQ
